4th of July!!!

we had a lot of fun this 4th of july. last year zach had to work on the 4th so he didn't get to do anything with us really. so this year we made sure to have lots of fun! we went to the park for the pancake breakfast (well, daddy didn't go with us to this, we brought him a plate back because a world cup game was on...woo hoo, sense my sarcasm, can't wait til it's over on sunday).
We spent the morning playing at nonna and papa's while dad watched the game. Then went out to lyman to set up our chairs and stuff for that night.
We went to the park for the bbq and races. Casen did a great job at the races, not sure if he got first or second, they didn't do prizes this year so no one told us and we were too busy watching him but a few people told us that he won :)
after the races we went home and napped and made food for our bbq at lyman.
we headed out to lyman around 4 and went swimming for a while (yes, even me though I didn't get proof). We had a good spot on the beach and my mom even set up a volleyball net so we played volleyball, ate good food, swam with quite a few other families until the fireworks started. Casen loved the fireworks, he was so sad when they were finished. he kept saying "boom, boom" when they went off. and he sat there the whole time. The fireworks were pretty good this year!
